BLOCK PRIZEPICKS.
Untilt blocks PrizePicks on your iPhone at the network level — app and site stop loading while a wall is up. Here's the part almost nobody tells you: because PrizePicks operates as daily fantasy in most states, casino and sportsbook self-exclusion programs often don't apply to it at all. The device wall doesn't care about the legal category.
What PrizePicks' own tools do
PrizePicks offers deposit limits and self-exclusion within its own responsible gaming settings.
But understand the boundary: state self-exclusion lists you may have joined for sportsbooks or casinos frequently do not extend to DFS pick'em operators. Excluding yourself from every sportsbook in your state can leave PrizePicks completely untouched.
Account tools close the account. Not the phone.
This is the gap that catches people after they've done everything right: accounts closed, state list joined — and the pick'em app still opens, still takes deposits, still feels like the same action because it is the same action wearing a different legal category.
Untilt doesn't parse legal categories. PrizePicks' domains are in the default blocklist next to the sportsbooks, so the wall treats a parlay and a pick'em slip as the same thing: blocked.

Three ways to block PrizePicks on iPhone
1 · Screen Time. Free and built in: set an app limit or block the website under Settings → Screen Time. The honest part: you know your own passcode, "Ignore Limit" is one tap, and web workarounds are endless. It's a speed bump you own the keys to. Full walkthrough in Screen Time vs a DNS wall.
2 · Delete the app + restrict downloads. Deleting PrizePicks helps for a night — until a two-minute reinstall. Pairing it with Screen Time's purchase restrictions is stronger, but the website still loads in every browser, and the restriction shares that same passcode problem.
3 · A device-level wall (Untilt). Untilt filters this iPhone's traffic on the device through Apple's Network Extension. While a wall is up, PrizePicks and every other covered service stop loading — app and website, Safari and Chrome. Walls are timed: free 1-hour walls forever, longer with Pro, and mid-wall there is nothing to toggle off. No account; the filter and its receipts stay on your phone.
60-second setup
Install Untilt, approve the shield when iOS asks (a one-time local Network Extension — traffic is checked on the device, not routed through anyone's servers), then press and hold for two seconds. The wall seals; PrizePicks stops loading. When it matters most — mid-tilt, before the game, the moment the deposit urge hits — the whole ritual is one hold.
Questions
I self-excluded from sportsbooks in my state. Why can I still use PrizePicks?
Most state exclusion programs cover licensed sportsbooks and casinos. DFS pick'em operators are usually licensed under different rules, so the exclusion doesn't reach them. That's a legal boundary, not a technical one — a device-level wall covers both.
Is PrizePicks gambling?
Legally it's daily fantasy in most states. Functionally, you stake money on sports outcomes. Untilt blocks it by default because the reflex doesn't check the statute.
Does this block the website too, or just the app?
Both. The wall filters DNS on the device, so covered domains stop loading in the app, Safari, Chrome, and in-app browsers alike.
Does it work on cellular, or only Wi-Fi?
Both. The filter runs on the iPhone itself, so it holds on 5G, LTE, and any Wi-Fi network without router changes.
Can I take the wall down early?
Free walls run one hour and then end on their own. Pro walls of 24 hours or more require a deliberate written exit — friction on purpose. Untilt never claims to be impossible to bypass; iOS gives the phone's owner final control. It claims to make the next bet slower than the urge.
